Policy
GRC Policy Group
Sharing national policies and regulations, and exploring voluntary cooperation and coordination.
About the group
GRC High Seas Fisheries will establish a policy group of experts with an initial focus on States and fishing entities whose vessels participate/d in the squid fishery in the South-West Atlantic high seas.
The policy group shall exchange information on relevant national policies and regulations and explore opportunities for voluntary cooperation and coordination, as appropriate.
The chair will convene a virtual meeting in late 2026 to confirm its membership of relevant policy experts from partner institutions, identify independent experts to be invited to join the group, and begin the development of a workplan.
