An informal partnership of ocean research institutions
The Global Research Cooperative for High Seas Fisheries (GRC High Seas) is an informal partnership of ocean research institutions that aims to support cooperation among States and fishing entities with an interest in high seas fisheries.
GRC High Seas focuses on high seas fisheries that are outside the jurisdiction of existing regional fisheries management organisations and arrangements, thereby providing a mechanism for informal science and policy cooperation in the absence of legally binding frameworks.
